You should know what it costs.
No “contact us for pricing.” Here are the figures, the steps and the dates — for the 2026 school year.
Plainly stated.
A real Waldorf education at roughly 10–15% of what the city Waldorf schools charge. Two ways to pay: discounted annual (due 31 January, boarding fees up to date) or quarterly at the start of each term.
| Application fee — paid with the application form | R200 |
| Registration fee — paid when your child is accepted | R1,000 |
| Total entry cost | R1,200 |
| Class | Discounted (annual) | Quarterly |
|---|---|---|
| Kindergarten | R11,970 | R3,150 × 4 = R12,600 |
| Classes 1 – 3 | R18,145 | R4,775 × 4 = R19,100 |
| Classes 4 – 6 | R18,677 | R4,915 × 4 = R19,660 |
| Class 7 | R19,285 | R5,075 × 4 = R20,300 |
| Boarding fee — bed, all meals, care, Sunday evening to Friday | R6,600 / quarter |
| Annual boarding total | R26,400 |
Boarding has no annual discount because its costs — food, utilities — move with the seasons. For a day learner in Classes 1–3, fees work out to about R1,512 a month; for a boarder, about R3,712 a month.
